By the 1919 Treaty of Versailles, the region's coal mines "Saar" was placed under administration of the League of Nations. Description: blue-gray design. Front: Helmeted bust of Minerva in a medallion at left with red markings. Signatures: the General Director, André Louis Joseph Ghislain Defline and the General Cashier HENRY. Reverse: blue-gray frieze with a diamond pattern in the center. No watermark. Very RARE in good quality. Size: 94x62mm. FBOW Collection. This note is the smallest number for the Type!
